Initiated international research collaboration with scientists at the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg and more recently with scientists at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ), the Polymer Materials Engineering (IMP CNRS UMR 5223) at the French Engineering Universities, Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) and Claude Bernard University of Lyon, and the Jean Monnet University in France. Held invited visiting professorships in a number of international institutions including the Institute of Polymers in ETHZ in Switzerland and elsewhere.
